Dishes are Done, Man!

Hey Mom, remember when I was a teenager and hated doing chores and said that I would never make my kids do them? Well, I am not technically making her do the dishes; she actually LOVES to unload the dishwasher! I can't complain about that!

Finley loves to watch airplanes so she was really

excited when the crop sprayer plane was

spraying the fields around us. I couldn't get her

to come down from her clubhouse when it was

time to go inside so I had to crawl up there

and go down the slide with her to get her down.

Finley's new earrings. Don't they just look so cute!!!!

Here is Fin on her 4-wheeler daddy brought home to her!!

She loves to ride on it and usually falls asleep after 10

minutes!

Fin is taking after her mommy and playing a

few keys. She really likes to rip the sheet

music off the stand!

Finley is enjoying the water park at McGraw Park

in Bloomington.

Fin is splashing around in her pool at home. She loves

the water. She has also been taking swim lessons.

Her favorite thing to do in class is jump off from the

ledge.

Finley and I took a field trip to Wildlife Prairie

Park in Peoria. She enjoyed the playground

more than the animals and train ride!

Hey Everyone! I have decided to join the blog world. This will be an easy way for everyone to keep up-to-date with us and what the sweet Fin is doing. (Right now she is trying to rip the cord out from the computer so I hope I can get this finished before she succeeds!) I am having some issues posting pics but I hope this will be resolved in the coming week. So there will be many pics to come! Here is what is going on right now:

Finley got her ears pierced 3 weeks ago. She did really good during the procedure and is doing well now, too. I have to wait til she goes to sleep to clean them because she does not like me to touch them.

She is really starting to talk now. She will repeat most of what you say so we have been careful! Daddy brought home a little bike for her last night. We will get some training wheels on and she will be set.

I ran my second 5k this summer today. YEAH!!!!! I finished in 30:24. The race was at Dawson Lake. I placed 164 out of 210. I had grandpa's beating me. How did that happen? The runners that compete in these runs are in very good shape and do not mess around. The winner had a time of 17: ? That is just too darn fast. Atleast I got a good look at the lake while I was running (and secretly dying inside).

Jimmy is slowly recovering from a back injury 3 weeks ago. He is doing better now, thankfully. His job is doing well and has stayed busy this summer.
