Shedd Aquarium

Since I go back to work on Monday, I wanted to take Finley
somewhere fun, just us. So, we rode the train up to Chicago
to see the Shedd Aquarium. She was excited to see Nemo!
She was all excited to ride the train until it pulled up. Then
she said she wasn't getting on that thing. Yikes! I made her
go and she cried for awhile but after that she was fine. We
went to the snack car and she like walking from car to car. The
first picture is when we first boarded the train. She has that
look of, not for sure what is going on and I don't like it! The
second picture is of us on the way home. Here you can see
she has my ipod. I was pulling out all the tricks to keep her
in her seat and to use her inside voice because she was so
excited! We had a blast at the aquarium. She loved looking at the
fish and or course Nemo!

Miller Park Zoo

Finley and I went to Miller Park Zoo on Monday. We saw alot of animals.
She like the animals but couldn't wait to go swimming! So, here are a few
from her playing at the playground.

Baby Brynnlee, 10 days old

Baby Brynnlee was sooo cute. She is the daughter from a
former coworker, Tonya. Thanks for coming by, I enjoyed
our visit!
There are several things you will notice about my style of
photography. 1. I love close-ups. 2. I love black and whites.
3. I LOVE BABY HATS!!!!! This first picture isn't perfect, but
it just makes me smile.
Also, for newborns, its important to have them photographed
within the first two weeks they are born. So, if you are thinking
about it or know someone who is, please have them call before the
baby is born to go over the details.

Digital Scrapbook

I have been busy scrapbooking with my time off. Here are a few
that I have done with Finley's pictures. It has been fun to look
through these photos of her when she was younger and see all
the changes. The first one is my favorite so far. I LOVE this pic.
One of my all time favorites. I think every father needs a photo
like this with their child. For mom, yes it would be nice too, but we
really don't want our bums photographed like that! I plan to take one
like this every year so down the road, I will have a beautiful collage
of Finley growing up walking with her dad. She should be happy
about taking this photo because she doesn't have to look at me or
smile! If anyone is interested in scrapbooking or wants me to put an album
together for them, let me know.

Finley is a Big Girl!

Finley has done so much these past few weeks. She sent her pacifiers off the the paci
fairy because other, younger kids needed them. She is a big girl now and doesn't need
them. She decorated a pretty box and we sealed the paci's inside and shipped them
off! The following day, Finley received the movie, Tinkerbell, from the paci fairy. She
was excited about that and hasn't asked for a paci since! She has also got the potty
training down as well. She is doing so good! Here are a few pics with her playing out-
side the other day. If only I could get her to smile at me!

Weekend at Grammys and Papas

Finley had a fun time playing with cousin Lexi and Grammy and Papa. There is
never a dull moment over there! They had fun playing Bingo.

Here is Landon playing Bingo!

Me and Landon

Here is a picture of Landon with me when he was 7 days old. And now at 9 weeks.
He is so cute and smiles at me all the time.

Family Picnic

We had a family picnic on the Trimble side this Sunday. I was able to snap
a picture of these girls. They were too busy to be bothered otherwise! The
first girl is Alexis, my niece. She is my brother, Miah's, daughter. The
second girl is Rayleigh, my brother's girlfriend daughter. They both have
beautiful smiles!

I hope everyone has a great 4th of July weekend. I am going to Missouri
with my dad and brother, Miah on a float trip down a river. This will be
interesting! The last time, I think, that my dad and my brother and I had
a trip planned it was when I was in second or third grade. We were set to
go camping for a week with them and my stepsisters and stepmom. The
night before we were all playing and cruising around on our grandmothers
3-wheel bike. Of course I had to be the one that got hurt and got my foot
caught in the spokes of the bike and broke my foot! Needless to say, we did
NOT go on the trip and all of my siblings refused to talk to me for weeks
because of this. They have all since forgiven and we laugh about it now. I
do not plan on this happening this weekend! Have a safe weekend!

Finley's new hat

Finley had a touch of the flu bug last week, so while she was at
home I pulled out a craft project that I had saved for a rainy day.
She had fun decorating her visor. When we go boating I have a
sun visor I wear and she is always wanting to wear it so I thought
she would enjoy having one of her own. Sadly, mine is not as pretty
as hers. And of course, I had to throw in a black and white. I am
obsessed with black and white pictures!
